Made for scar tissue
Pigment placement, depth, and density are adjusted for the unique behaviour of scar tissue. Standard SMP technique won't work — this needs specialist hands.

Hair transplant scars, burns, trauma. Conceal the visible scar tissue with precision pigmentation work — one of SMP's most technically demanding applications.
Hair transplant scars are common reasons clients come to us. The FUT (strip) scar at the back of the head — a long linear mark left by the donor strip — is visible whenever the hair is cut short. FUE leaves hundreds of small circular scars that are less obvious but still visible at close range.
Burns, trauma, and surgical scars from accidents or other procedures behave similarly: they create an interruption in the natural pattern of the scalp that the eye picks up immediately, regardless of hair length.
Scar SMP is the most technically demanding form of scalp micropigmentation. The pigment behaves differently on scar tissue than on normal skin. The texture is different. The colour and density of the surrounding hair must be matched exactly. Jackson has spent eight years building the techniques required to make scars genuinely disappear into the natural pattern.
Specific advantages of scalp micropigmentation for this particular condition, beyond the general SMP story.

Most scar-concealment clients say the biggest change is being able to crop their hair without worrying about visibility.
Compatible with post-transplant clients who want to add density or extend coverage at the same time.
Lasts 5 to 7 years before any minor touch-up. Fades evenly with the surrounding pigment work.

Jackson assesses your scar type, texture, surrounding hair, and the look you want. Scar work is custom from the first minute.
2 to 4 hours depending on scar size. We lay the base pigmentation across and around the scar tissue.
7 to 14 days apart. Scar tissue often needs an extra session to reach full concealment.
Free included touch-up — particularly important for scar work as it allows for any final blending.
SMP doesn't change scar texture — only visibility. If your scar is significantly raised, it may still be palpable to touch, but it will be much harder to see visually.
Old scars often respond well to SMP. The pigment can sit cleanly in mature scar tissue. We assess each case in consultation.
Often yes. We do a fair amount of corrective work for clients whose previous SMP didn't go well. Bring photos to your consultation and we'll be honest about what we can do.
If done well, no. Jackson matches pigment colour, density, and follicle pattern exactly to the surrounding hair.
